OMAN - DOCUMENT ATTESTATION SERVICES

Gerrys VDB proudly announces the launch of document handling services for attestation of Documents from the Embassy of Sultanate of Oman Islamabad w-e-f January 02, 2012 and from the Consulate General of Sultanate of Oman Karachi w-e-f January 09, 2012.

Documents of applicants from Federal Capital, Punjab and KPK provinces will be dealt by the Embassy of Sultanate of Oman, Islamabad and will be submitted at Gerrys following offices

Documents of applicants from Sind and Baluchistan provinces will be dealt by the Consulate General of Sultanate of Oman, Karachi and will be submitted at Gerrys following offices

Karachi:        43/1/D Razi Road Block 6, P.E.C.H.S.

Hyderabad:    Shop# B-1, Defence Plaza, Fatima Jinnah Road, Thandi Sarrak.

Quetta:         Shop No S-9, Swiss Plaza M.A. Jinnah Road.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applications for the Embassy of Oman can be submitted and collected from Gerrys offices personally or through following authorized relatives only

         Parents

         Son/Daughter

         Real Brother/Sister

Applications for the Oman Consulate can be submitted and collected from Gerrys offices personally or through any authorized person (no restriction about specific relatives).

Applicants do not require any appointments to submit their applications.

PREREQUISITES FOR ATTESTATION OF DOCUMENTS

Before applying, please ensure to complete all requirements set by the Embassy/Consulate for document attestation.  Following are the details

ATTETSATION OF GAMCA MEDICAL REPORTS

         Original Certificate for OMAN stamped and signed by

o    Concerned medical center

o    Concerned GAMCA office

         Copy of applicants CNIC

         Copy of applicants passport

         Copy of medical certificate

ATTESTATION OF EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS

a)   Attestation of Bachelor and above levels

         Original/copy attested by HEC and MOFA

         A photocopy of the document after HEC and MFA attestation

         Copy of applicants CNIC

         Copy of applicants passport (if applicable)

*Note: documents attested by HEC before 2009 need to be re attested by HEC before submission at Gerrys counters.

b)   Attestation of SSC and HSSC documents

         Original/copy attested by IBCC and MOFA

         Photocopy of the document to be legalized, also attested by  IBCC and MOFA in original

         CNIC copy of the applicant

         Copy of Provisional/Character certificate of SSC and HSSC

         Copy of marks sheet of SSC and HSSC

c)   Attestation of Intermediate equivalent Diplomas (3 years)

         Original/copy of diploma attested by

o    Concerned Technical  board

o    IBCC

o    Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Photocopy of the diploma, also attested in original by

d)   Attestation of Diplomas (2 years, 1 years, 6 months or less)

         Photocopy of the diploma, also attested in original by

         Verification Letter /Character Certificate from the institute

ATTESTATION OF MCPS/MEDICAL EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATES

         Certificate/experience letter to be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Copy of the certificate

         Copy of applicants CNIC/Passport or that of applicants parents

ATTESTATION OF CIVIL CERTIFICATES

     i.        Attestation of Nikahnama

         Original/copy to be attested must first be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         CNIC copies of bride and bridegroom

         Copy of Nikahnama

    ii.        Attestation of Marriage Registration Certificate(MRC)

         Original MRC duly attested by concerned Union Council and Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         CNIC details of bride, bridegroom and their parents must be mentioned on MRC

         CNIC copies of bride and bridegroom

         Passport copies of bride and bridegroom (if applicable)

         Copy of Urdu Nikahnama

   iii.        Attestation of Nikahnama Translation (English only)

         English translation of Nikahnama duly attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Copy of original urdu nikahnama

         CNIC copies of bride and bridegroom

   iv.        Attestation of FRC/Form B, Birth Certificate

         Original  FRC/Form-B/CC to be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Copy of the certificate

         CNIC copies of the parents

         CNIC copies of children (18 years and above)

ATTESTATION OF POWER OF ATTORNEY

         Original Power of Attorney on stamp paper duly attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Copy of Power of Attorney

         CNIC copies of all parties mentioned in Power of Attorney

         Passport copy of the party mentioned in the Power of Attorney

ATTESTATION OF SUCCESSION CERTIFICATE

         Succession Certificate duly attested by

o    Concerned civil court/magistrate

o    Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         CNIC copies of all successors

         CNIC deceased

         Passport copy of deceased

         Oman Visa copy of deceased

         Copy of Death Certificate from Oman

         Letter of confirmation of death  by Pakistan High Commission  in Oman

         Certificate regarding contents of coffin and sealing of dad body container

         Certificate regarding absence of any quarantinable or infectious disease at the time of death 

ATTESTATION OF COMMERCIAL DOCUMENTS (TRADE INVOICES)

         Certificate of Origin issued by concerned Chamber of Commerce and duly attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Trade invoice (on Company letter head or stamp paper) duly attested by concerned Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Phytosanitary Certificate from Ministry of Food security duly attested by concerned chamber of commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs

         Copy set of all above mentioned documents

         CNIC copy of authorized agent submitting the documents

PROCESSING TIME

The processing time for attestation of documents is 3 to 4 working days and could vary depending on the procedures at the Embassy.
